I’m a software developer specialized in Ruby on Rails. Over the past ~10 years, I've worked as a backend / full-stack programmer on a variety of products. Here my highlighted moments:
- Worked for 4 years at SkyVerge (Inc 5000), a fully remote US-based software company, where I was the first engineer at Jilt, an email marketing platform for ecommerce, fully programmed in Ruby on Rails.
- Before that, I freelanced for a while, collaborating in a few apps including GoWashMyCar, a Ruby on Rails app that helps Londoners book a car wash.
- In the meantime, I gave
entrepreneurshipside-projects a try too via Sudamos, a P2P marketplace which is now in the graveyard. - Previously, I worked for another 3+ years at Zorros, a fully remote Belgium-based Rails software agency, where I developed Ruby on Rails apps for bold clients like Konami or Renault. I helped with ArchiSnapper too, their internal SaaS product, a reports app for architects.
Currently I'm the founder at Siftmo, an analytics platform for Shopify merchants. And the ever waiting organizer of the RubyNess Conf, a Ruby programming conference in Inverness, the heart of the Scottish Highlands, which had to be cancelled due to covid.
